The Modicon TCCK5011A2E000 is a terminal computer control compact 15” display with a keyboard. Manufactured by Schneider Electric, this Modicon TC2000 module is a part of the 3500 series of flat panels made for industrial PCs.  Made to work on the factory floor, it is a powerful machine ready to work in harsh environments. The Modicon TCCK5011A2E000 TC200 module has a 6-slot ISA/PCI expansion.  Featuring an open architecture to complete tasks in a wide variety of applications.  Some applications require a powerful PC and some require a durable industrial front panel. The TCCK5011A2E000 is built to work with applications requiring both.  The PC integrates several things in its industrial design. Some of the design qualities include an integrated computer card cage, mass storage, display, and a powerful industrial structure. The design of this Modicon TC200 grants effortless access to expansion boards, jumpers, power supply, flat panel display, and disk drives.

What features come standard on all the Schneider Electric TC2000 modules? You will find standard on all TC2000 modules Pentium® II technology, PCI 64-bit video controller, and 2 MB video RAM.

Also standard is PCI local-bus IDE controller, two 168-pin SDRAM DIMMs that support 32,64, 128, and 256 MB options, two USB ports, and a 100 MHz front-side bus with Pentium II processors.  

Other features of the TCCK5011A2E000 are two serial COM ports: RS-232 and RS-232 or RS-485.  This 15” flat panel module has 1024 x 768 resolution.  It has a parallel port, a VGA port, Flash BIOS, 9” mounting depth, 3.5 inches internal, side access floppy drive, 6 AT-bus full-length expansion slots (four ISA, one ISA or PCI slot, and one PCI).  Standard also is an IR port, rear PS/2 keyboard port, and AUX port.  It has four status LED lights. One LED light for Power, one LED status light for DISK, one LED status light for Com, and the final LED status light is for Input. It has a 3.5-inch internal IDE hard drive MS-DOS.  The Modicon TCCK5011A2E000 is approved for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations.  It has an Autosensing AC power supply and side power connector with a retainer bracket.

The following information pertains to the start-up procedure for the Modicon TCCK5011A2E000.  The first thing you must do is prepare the Schneider Electric module for use by first attaching all optional equipment, including other keyboards, attach a power cord from a power receptacle to an outlet that is properly grounded. Turn the power on to the TC2000.  In DOS, the system will boot up at the C: prompt. In Windows 95, you will see the Windows logo display on the screen.  In Windows NT, a log-on box will show up on the screen.  To use the network connection, the IR port, or a CD-ROM, you must first install application software by way of the floppy disk.
