The Yaskawa JVOP183 is a drive keypad designed for use with the Z1000-Series Drive, a Yaskawa AC drive. Design

The JVOP183 keypad is specifically designed for the Z1000-Series Drive and is compatible with its communication protocol and control capabilities. It allows users to enter OFF commands, switch between AUTO and HAND modes, change parameters, and view important data such as fault and alarm information.

The keypad features several keys and displays that enable users to interact with the drive system effectively. These include:

1. Function Keys (F1, F2): The functions assigned to these keys vary depending on the currently displayed menu. The lower half of the display window shows the name of each function.
2. ESC Key: This key serves multiple purposes. It allows users to return to the previous display, move the cursor one space to the left, and press and hold the ESC key returns to the Frequency Reference display.
3. RESET Key: The RESET key is used to move the cursor to the right and reset the drive to clear any fault situations that may have occurred.
4. AUTO Key: The AUTO key is used to select the source of the run command and frequency reference. It sets the drive to AUTO mode, and the run command and frequency reference input sources depend on specific parameters.
5. Up Arrow Key: This key is used to scroll up and display the next item, select parameter numbers, and increment setting values.
6. Down Arrow Key: This key is used to scroll down and display the previous item, select parameter numbers, and decrement setting values.
7. OFF Key: The OFF key is used to follow the stopping method set in the parameter b1-03 to stop the drive operation. It is important to note that the OFF key is disabled during Emergency Override.
8. ENTER Key: The ENTER key is used to enter parameter values and settings. It is also used to select a menu item and navigate between displays.
9. HAND Key: The HAND key is used to set the drive to HAND mode, where the drive runs at a selectable frequency reference source specified by the parameter S5-01. When the parameter S5-02 is set to 1, HAND and AUTO modes can be switched while the drive is running.
