The A06B-6120-H045 is a FANUC LTD Yamanashi Alpha i series Power Supply module MDL PSM-45HVi, it is made in Japan, and ready to be put to work as part of your FANUC factory automation system. The rated input of this Alpha i series power supply is 400-480 volts main 92 amps at 400 volts, and 50/60 hertz. The rated output is 565-679 volts and 50 kilowatts. 

Be aware of the safety measure to follow while using or preparing to use a power supply or other components which may be affected by it.  The power supply and power lines may never be short-circuited or grounded and the power supply lines, power lines, and signal lines require a secure connection (ensure the ends are handled correctly and the lines are not stressed or bent in any fashion). These lines are crucially important to be careful with because high voltages of electricity pass through them and even small loose pieces such as a screw could catch fire. The cables used must be of the proper temperature rating and diameter as well as properly connected to the designated terminals and connectors.

How to use a A06B-6120-H045

When using the A06B-6120-H045, check the supply voltage on the power supply prior to connecting the wiring.  These specifications are found in the manual.  In the manual, the abbreviation PSM is used to refer to the power supply module. The A06B-6120-H045 module is an Alphai series module in the FANUC system such as Alphai and non-Alphai servo modules and Alphai and non-Alphai spindle amplifier modules.

The A06B-6120-H045 Alphai series power supply module is a power regeneration type module.  The power supply is located at the emergency stop state, and it must have some 200 VAC of power. 

Advantages

The power break will be ready to use once the Status LED light is lit, and at that point, it is safe to release the emergency stop on the power supply. The Status LED light can be found in the upper-right hand corner of the power supply front panel. The status light will indicate if the power supply is off, not ready, ready, or if an alarm or warning has occurred.  When the MCC is turned on and the servo and spindle motors are operating safely. The power supply is then ready to go.

One servo alarm to be aware of is one that directly relates to a power supply module. The servo alarm is for the series 15i, alarm SV0432, which refers to the power supply module 6 controller, indicating that the control power supply is under voltage. Warnings such as these need to be heeded as soon as possible.  The manual number which will include more information about the A06B-6120-H045 module is manual B-65282.
