The Modicon 140DAI55300C is a discrete input module working with a voltage of 115 V ˞ with 32 inputs. It does this with 4 groups of 8 inputs. It weighs 0.728 lbs.

The product is considered a VAC discrete input module and works communicating input to the CPU, the brains of your system. It utilizes the 4 channel groups to address the 2 input words using 115 V AC. Response time can be critical. Knowing how quickly your input brings this information is important. So, what exactly is the response time with this Modicon input unit? The response time is 4.9…0.75 ms x line cycle Off-On and 7.3…12.3 ms On-Off. 

The local signaling indicators on this unit uses LED to signal. It offers the following: 1 LED (green) bus communication is present and will indicate (Active), 1 LED (red) external when a fault is detected, and will indicate (F), and finally there are 32 LEDs (green) which are there for input status.
