The Siemens Micromaster 440 Series was specially designed for applications that require broader functionality and a strong dynamic response to any situation that may come up. The Micromaster 440 drives have an advanced control system that ensures a uniform high drive quality, even during sudden changed in load.
For the Siemens Micromaster 440 series, their fast response input and positioning deceleration ramps allow for movement to certain target positions. This is the case even without an encoder. The drives have an integrated brake chopper so that they work with outstanding precision, even during braking and short declaration ramps. This is all possible with a power range from 0.12 kW (0.16 HP) and going up to 250 kW (350 HP).
The Micromaster 440 comes with an HMI that has a plaintext control panel to simplify operation, even in foreign languages. The drives have dynamic driving and braking for various types on controls and braking. The drives also have various communication interfaces to ensure usability with the most communicative network applications.
The Micromaster 420 drives are typically used with conveyor systems, material transport, pumps, fans, and all other mechanical engineering.
