We have an SMC20 in our control system. Currently the Module is displaying a continuous Red LED and this has halted all operations. The power to the Module is 24V DC and there is one communication cable between the module and the control unit. In other words the module has a communication cable from the control unit Simotion D435 and another cable from the module to Encoder sin/com 1vpp. I tried to replacethe encoder but still the system is not working and SMC20 displays a continuous RED LED display.
I would like to establish whether it is the module SMC20 that has a fault or the control unit with memory card. What can I do?
